About Cremation Memorials
Cremation headstones and memorials mark a plot where ashes are interred. The collection includes compact upright stones, tablets, wedges and plaques, with current product prices shown where available. The permitted size and fixing depend on the crematorium, cemetery or memorial-garden section, so the location must be checked before a design is confirmed.
Start by telling us where the ashes are or will be interred and, if known, the plot or section. We can then help compare granite colours and shapes, prepare the inscription, include a second name where the plot and stone allow it, and support the memorial application. Read the price guide for the factors that affect a quotation and the cemetery-rules guide for the approval process.
Photo plaques and granite flower vases can be considered where the authority permits them. We serve London and surrounding areas from Muswell Hill, and Sheffield, South and West Yorkshire from Malin Bridge. Use the relevant local page for London cremation memorials, Sheffield cremation memorials or Essex cremation memorials, or send the location for a written quotation.
Cremation plots and memorial gardens
How to choose a cremation headstone
A cremation memorial is usually more compact than a full-burial headstone, but there is no universal size or shape. Start with the interment location, then compare designs that can fit its rules and the inscription you need.
Confirm the location
Tell us the crematorium, cemetery or memorial garden and the plot or section if known. The authority's rules decide the dimensions and memorial type.
Choose the stone
Compare upright cremation headstones, tablets, wedges and plaques, then choose from the granite options shown for that product.
Approve the inscription
We set out the name, dates, wording and any permitted motif. A two-person plot can often be planned with space for a later second inscription.
Permission and installation
We support the application where required and arrange fixing after approval. Every design remains subject to the burial authority's decision.
Ask about a cremation plot
Share the location and plot details if you have them. We will check what is realistic and prepare a written quotation without claiming approval in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a cremation headstone?
A cremation headstone is a stone memorial designed for a plot where cremated remains are interred. It is often smaller than a headstone for a full burial plot and may be an upright stone, tablet, wedge or plaque. The burial authority decides the permitted form and dimensions for each section.
Can a cremation headstone include two names?
Often yes, where the plot is intended for two interments and the stone has enough inscription space. The authority's rules and the plot rights still apply. We can plan the first inscription so space is retained for a second name where appropriate.
Are cremation headstones allowed in every memorial garden?
No. Crematoria and cemeteries can restrict the memorial type, dimensions, material, vase holes and ornamentation, sometimes by section. We check the location before confirming that a design is suitable. Every final design remains subject to the burial authority's approval.
How much do cremation memorials cost?
Prices vary with the stone, size, granite colour, inscription, artwork, fixing and local permit fee. Current product prices are shown in the collection where available. We provide a written quotation after checking the location and specification, including any cemetery or crematorium fee we are arranging on your behalf.
How long does a cremation memorial take?
Lead time depends on whether the memorial is already in UK stock or made to order, the inscription work and the burial authority's approval. Stock memorials can be quicker; made-to-order and bespoke pieces take longer. We confirm the expected timeframe on the written quotation rather than promising one period for every design.
Do you supply cremation headstones in London and Sheffield?
Yes, subject to the rules of the crematorium, cemetery or memorial garden. London and surrounding areas are served from our Muswell Hill showroom. Sheffield, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire are served from our Malin Bridge showroom. Visits are by appointment.
