If you are choosing a headstone in London, start with the cemetery. We work from our Muswell Hill showroom and help families match granite memorials, inscriptions and installation to the rules of the burial ground, without promising a style until we know the section.
London showroom
Based in Muswell Hill, working across the capital
Families visit us at 103 Colney Hatch Lane, London N10 1LR. Appointments mean we can talk through the cemetery, the stone and the inscription without rushing. If you cannot travel, send photographs and the plot details and we will start from there.
We also help with inscriptions, renovation and wording ideas for existing London memorials.
How a London memorial is arranged
Tell us the cemetery
Share the cemetery or burial ground if you know it. That is the starting point for size, materials and whether a lawn memorial, kerb set or plaque is likely to be suitable.
We check the plot rules
London cemeteries often differ by section. We check what is typically permitted before a design is finalised, and we do not promise a memorial type until that is clear.
Design and inscription
Choose a granite colour and shape, then we set out the wording, lettering and any ornamentation so it fits the stone and the cemetery drawing.
Application and installation
Where a memorial permit is required, we prepare the paperwork. Manufacture follows approval, then we install to the cemetery’s fixing requirements.

Memorial types for London cemeteries
Below are the memorial types London families often weigh up, especially where a cemetery has lawn sections, upright plots or stricter rules on size and finish. Use the cards to explore the range; we then help you match a design to your burial ground, materials and wording.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers on headstones, gravestones and how we support London enquiries. For anything else, we are a call or message away.
Do you supply and install headstones and gravestones in London?
Yes. London is our home base. We welcome families at our Muswell Hill showroom, by appointment, and support memorials across Greater London, from first conversation through design, cemetery paperwork where required, craftsmanship and installation.
Do you cover North London cemeteries?
Yes. North London is close to our showroom on Colney Hatch Lane. We regularly help with memorials at cemeteries such as Hendon, East Finchley, Tottenham, Enfield and nearby sites. Tell us the cemetery name and we will outline what families usually need to consider there.
How do cemetery rules work for London memorials?
Rules vary by cemetery, borough and often by section within the same site. Lawn sections commonly limit height and may not allow kerb surrounds. We build those requirements into your project early, including materials, height, vases and fixing standards, so the design stands the best chance of approval. Designs remain subject to cemetery approval.
Can you add an inscription to an existing London headstone?
Yes. Additional inscriptions, matching lettering and renovation are a large part of our London work. Cemetery permission is often still required even when the stone is already in place. Send photographs and the cemetery name if you have them.
Where is the London showroom?
103 Colney Hatch Lane, Muswell Hill, London N10 1LR. Visits are by appointment so someone can sit with you properly. Call 020 3003 4855 or send an enquiry to arrange a time.
How long does a memorial order usually take?
Lead times depend on the memorial and material. As a guide, many made-to-order memorials take around 4 to 5 months from deposit and confirmed payment; bespoke work can take longer, whilst stock memorials already in the UK are often ready in around 6 to 8 weeks or sooner. We confirm the most accurate timeframe when we prepare your quotation.
Ready to talk about a London memorial?
Share the cemetery name if you have it, or simply tell us what stage you are at. We will respond with clear next steps and no pressure.
